Just done a few service items; oils, filters (oil & fuel), plugs (NGK), air filter clean, greased and oiled throttle linkages, cleaned crank sensor and did near enough all the checks on the service schedule.

Was running fine beforehand, it still runs well, pulls well and is fine on the warm up phase, but am getting the occasional 'pop' out of the n/s exhaust when idling when fully warm.

I've checked that the leads are fully home on the plugs and checked the resistance in the leads, they were all the same so assume they are ok (were replaced 5k miles ago). Checked the plugs to see if any were going to be covered in fuel, all looked fine, replaced the coil pack on that side. Lamdas were replaced about 5k miles ago. The only thing I haven't done yet is connect to the laptop, would a throttle pot slightly out of adjustment cause such a symptom?

Thanks in anticipation,
Frustrated from Kent!

I think the first thing to do is fire up the laptop and check the readings

Is it worth pulling the injector leads from that bank one at a time and seeing which one stops the popping (assuming you'll be able to tell with it running on 7), or will that log a fault with the ecu or cause any other problems?

Hooray! Fixed it today after connecting to the laptop (thanks Byker28!) and have taken it on a 200mile run, with no popping when idling!

It was the throttle pot on that side, it just needed adjusting. The good side was showing 15.9 and the side that was popping was showing 14.something. Adjusted this to match the good side and all was well!
