Hi Guys,

As some of you may or may not know, before the chimaera i had a e46 M3 bmw which cost me a fair bit. The service i got at BMW was ok if you could get it booked in, and if you could bring it in a certain time that was totally inconvenient to you, not bad for a car costing so much.

Anyway now in my chimaera, i broke down the other night on my way home, and it would not start. So i called Perry Mott who looks after her, he was out within fifeteen minutes (This was 8 oclock at night) put a power pack on her, got it started and we took it to his garage, then he took me home.

I wonder how i would have got on with the BMW????????

Cheers

There are some good guys out there - they don't always get the recognition they deserve. Neil Garner's been very good to several Tivvers - even coming out on Sundays to lend a hand. thumbup

Only cos' it was the only day I could get it to him and he's got it for a week. It's in for a 6k service plus possible brake discs & pads, possible new rad and some other bits and bobs. I'm taking the car to Le Mans for the first time, so I want it to be sorted. He's also going to diagnose a ticking noise which I'm assuming (hopefully) is a sticky lifter!!
