Recommended Sat-Nav for £100 - £150 ?
Discussion
At the moment e-buyer have the "Navigo SY885" (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131342) for £59.98 inclusive of VAT and with free delivery. Brilliant little GPS, Peru fast root re-calculation,the included application is OK and has 7-digit GB postcode search. But the great thing is that with minimal effort you can install TomTom or any other street-mapping software you want on it. Thoroughly recommended.

Yep, Garmin or TomTom.
I had a Garmin for years, it always did a good job. If your sister and fiancee might go to Europe, the TomTom One Europe is worth a few quid extra, adding the maps afterwards is expensive and a pain (=don't buy TT One UK).
I wish I'd bought the XL Europe, though, because when you use the onscreen keyboard the standard One is a bit too small.

Ive been doing a bit of research into this (farting about on the net ) and although the garmin 250w is a fair price, the navman s70 or s90i has the same spec but also has bluetooth, s90i has built in camera. As for the tom tom, it seems good but then you get ripped off when you up date. For me I think the navman s70 is the best.
