Thinking of ripping out the old K&N Induction kit and refitting with the carbon fibre ITG Maxogen system, has anyone fitted one of these and if so what is it really like?t's going to be fitted to a standard S2 Elise.Very interested to hear any home truth's about these before I commit.Cheers.

Got one on my Exige, sounds like its going to vacuum up small children and animals even at idle. No idea (and doubt) it makes any real difference to performance (at least on a 'yota)

My 111r had the test production kit fitted. They are superb and do make a little difference low down on the Toyota engine. Beathing has been it's problem. It is best allied to a freer flowing exhaust such as a quicksilver etc. The noise they make at higher revs is great. Following my experiences with it I've pretty much had ITG on every car since as I believe they are alot better than K & N....

Had one on my 111R - looks great and adds a lovely induction noise especially when you go onto 2nd cam. It sounds faster even if in reality it isn't thumbup

PTP do at least publish before and after power curves to back up their claims. The full benefit of these systems is only really apparant when other mods have been made (ported head, sports exhaust). In the meantime they make a nice noise and and can help the engine to feel a bit freer revving. The ITG looks great too (but it ought to at the price!).

Thanks for the info lads has anyone got a link for PTP please? So far the best price I've seen is about £319.00.I'm looking forward to fitting this system and think I'll go for it,it's pricey but I think it's the best induction system around for a standard S2 Elise.I know it's not going to change the power too much but from what I've read it's a far superior solution to the K&N.
