decided as i couldnt go out & play today i'd clean the worst of the corrosion off the forks on the 14, they looked bloody awful since i got them. heres proof with a hobbit inspecting stuff

so a quick brush with scotchbrit will do right? nah cause that shows that only about half the fork is still anodised. out comes the wirewool & autosol...
halfway

and finished with 3 coats of laquer, its not a mirror finish but its a LOT better than before id say.

That's a top job. I've got spots of rust on the stainless bars of my Hornet. What'd be good for getting it cleaned off?

i scrubbed the corrosion off with a scotchbrite pad on a drill. then polished with autosol & superfine wirewool. just keep scrubbing till it goes quiet & feels smooth under the wool. i did them about 2 or 3 times in total. could have been less but its only the second thing ive polished so wiped clean to see how i was going.
