Just curious if it's still around as it used to belong to my dad many years ago and he still goes on about it.
It was originally bronze but when he sold it she was white. The trophy on the bonnet was just sat there or the photo and was not attached to it.

The DVLA site says it still exists

http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/index.jsp

But not currently licensed or SORN'd and not since 1984, which is when they went computerised IIRC.
The Moper Muscle Associtation may be a good place to start looking

I looked it up on there a while ago but I think it should be tax free due to its age (1969) although DVLA show it as a 1973 because that's when it entered the UK so i don't know if it should say tax free or just unlicensed or something else. It would be nice to find who had it so i could get a picture of it regardless of condition for the old man.
