Hope there isn't already a thread on this, I did look.

Anyway, went to see this last night and loved it. Really sweet, funny, gentle, brilliantly performed, utterly charming and disarming, with very subtle and enjoyable use of character, language and music. It looks lovely too.

Its easily the nicest thing Ive seen in ages, so I recommend you go see it, and feel better all the way till you get back outside and into the real world.

shut up. it was nice.

not everything has to be hardcore porn you know. that said, Id have really liked Juno if there had been more slutty girl on girl action.

oh, hell. who am I kidding? I wouldnt have. Id just have tutted quietly and felt resentful like I always do.

Im not sure its meant to be. Isnt ND one of those tending to the gross-out/ slapstick/ laughs from a thicko style flicks? Juno is a touch more thoughtful than that. Im not saying its a thinker, but its not a movie about BMX'ing either.

Shame on you. It's a bit 'love it or hate it' , but I loved it!

well, I liked it too. so theres your decider.

Im never right about these things- I think citizen kane is well crafted but about as enjoyable as any film about a lost sledge can be.

problem is, I too am a BMX'ing retard, so its a little too autobiographical for me. Too many painful memories.

But it turned up in Columbo years later, making us all feel complete again biggrin

I love that episode, though in an effort to be factual here, only the word 'rosebud' and the gates from the fictional Kane mansion were in that episode, not the actual sledge.

Id have called it Percy if it were mine.

You can't name gates.
You could however call it Percy even though it isn't yours.
