3200GT acceleration hesitant after 4000RPM

The acceleration on my 3200GT is fine up to about 4000RPM and then its lumpy and slow to increase. Its the same in every gear. Has anyone got any suggestions what this may be?

It was fine until I stopped driving it regularly, but now I have started driving it more often there is no change.

Any help appreciated.

Mine was somewhat the same when I brought it, I put it in for a service and tune and it was like a new car, well not quite, but it accelerated all the way to the red line which it never did before. Get it in for some diagnostics and see what they recommend.
