Saw loads of classics today, they seemed to stop off in Thornham just down the road to me. A number of them were topless as well.

How do you get pictures in your post?, I've tried several times but failed miserably. Thanks, Andy.

Not in East Anglia but I went for a run up on Ashdown Forest in Sussex today and it was stunning.

Yep, it was a lovely sunny day at lunchtime when I set out - then found myself taking it carefully back through thick and very cold fog!

You should have come up to the 'frozen north' John. It was glorious up here all day.

You won't be laughing when the ice melts and your house plunges to the seabed! nuts

Shamelessly copied from a thread I wrote for another forum

How to post pics guide.......

How to post pics: A simple guide

Step 1: Hosting your pictures

First you need to host pics, or have them online already. Hosting your own pics can be done at a number of sites.

I use www.photobucket.com

There are some restrictions on storage qty and bandwidth use but it’s never been a problem to me and a gig of storage is a lot of pictures - photo's for forum use want to be around 300mb or less

When I wrote this guide I intended it to be a general how to rather than a specific guide for photobucket but the priciples are the same for most and if you have problems just shout on the forum and someone will be able to help

The following is a list of other possible hosts and can be quite useful but I only have a very small amount of experience using the alternatives listed below:

Free ones (may have limited facilities)

www.photobucket.com

www.tinypics.com

www.photobox.co.uk

Subscription required

www.fototime.com

www.geocities.com

www.tripod.com

www.angelfire.com

So the first step is to join Photobucket or similar

Once joined and logged in – either create an album if you like to keep photos of different cars or events separate or have a nice big simple bucket

Right now you can add pictures

Select directory
Select the image you want to upload from your PC Folder

If it’s just one image

click on the upload button and let it do it's stuff

or keep adding images until you reach the limit of 20 then click upload

Depending on number of images you will soon get confirmation of upload

One note of caution is that photobucket can do bulk uploads of much larger numbers than 20 – ie a complete folder of pics but I’ve had issues with this process (might just be me tho!!!)

When it's completed you will have a thumbnail to pic (or if you’ve loaded several images a page full of thumbnails

Anyway back to linking to the pictures now hosted

Step 2: Inserting pics into your post

Click on the bottom section for forum links and the properties in the box will be automatically copied.

Finally, go back to the forum and in a reply to a post or a new thread put the image properties in the post where you want the picture to be either by using CTRL + V or right-click, paste.

It should look like this:

And will result in this:

There you go.........

PS Apologies for the Opel content but it was relevant to the forum concerned

I went out in mine having finished fettling the cooling system on Sunday - but, as it's a coupe, it's sadly a tad difficult to go topless without using a tin opener....
