oil pressure warning light A3 2.0T

have a 2007 Audi A3 2.0T Sportback and the low oil pressure warning light has come on twice once red once yellow. rang audi assist and they said oil was too low despite being absolutely fine on dipstick.

has anyone had a similar problem. car seems to run fine with it on (although steering seemed heavier )

only worry is that if anything happens they will blame it on the light being on. as mentioned oil level is checked every week and is all ok!

I reckon your best bet is to book it in at your local Audi dealer or the one that supplied you the car
