wanted to go for the first drive this year...

and was pretty impressed she started up on the first time (trickle charger ) alas the alarm tone which would not go off meant bad news... alarm said no brake fluid, which was confirmed by a quick look in the reservoir - empty
so no drive in the nice weather and thinking of towing the car away again - no leaks under the car spotted
What is the forum's feeling clutch ???(last owner fitted new one @20.000 miles), clutch action felt normal gears would go in apart from reverse (which was a bit scratchy- but is always when cold)- or brakes???? (but brake pedal did not fall to the floor- was rather hard in contrary)

should I risk to top up and see what happens???

Nobody ever run out of break fluid???

I've never run out of brake fluid but all I know is that the clutch and the brakes run off of the same resevoir. It is designed in such a way that the clutch should fail first and then your brakes when it gets lower again on fluid. Just seems strange that your clutch still worked and felt fine?! Sorry I can't be any more help.
