Stone chips

Hi all,

Got my Tam last October after parting with the old Chimaera and I've got to say it's a massive improvement. However, I'm having a lot of heartache over stone chips to the front spoiler thing - it's so low slung it seems very susceptible to chips and grazes. Mine is a sort of matt black colour -don't know if this is the same on all Tamoras - but what does everyone else do about touching up the paint on this low sling bit at the front? - is there a paint code for this matt black colour?

I'd just take it to your local spray shop. I've just had paintshield fitted to mine, it's hardly noticeable and should hopefully protect the front end more.

If by the black paint on the front splitter you mean a narrow band at the very bottom, then try using black electrical insulating tape - that's what I think mine is and so it will be relatively easy to replace (I assume!).
