A Reminder how good the Sagaris is!

What a gorgeous day we had yesterday and the first decent outing of the year in the Sag. Just fitted uprated brake pads so needed to bed them in and could'nt have had a nicer day for it.
Just reminded me what a great car these are, not just for out and out performance but also as a comfortable tourer when you want to be a little more relaxed.
Some may frown at me when I say that the car has hardly been out of the garage since November but it certainly makes a drive like yesterday all the more sweet. Roll on the summer (hope we get one this year!)

Can't help but agree, had a stunning drive from Aberdeen down to Hexham to leave car for a week or so to get new Diff fitted.
A68 after Scottish border somewhat undulating, car did bottom out a couple of times going over some of the dips, I guess that is the price you pay having the car so low slung. Nothing major mind you, some scuffs on rear diffuser.
Also noted that ground clearance is less than that of a rabbit - dead mind you - lying on road ahead with oncoming traffic, no way to avoid but go over - nice fresh meat delivered to garage!

I've noticed that one with the dead rabbits!! It is apparently possible to raise the car a little on its springs but not sure how easy this is and if there is a detremental effect on handling. I may pose the question when mine goes in to HHC. I reckon a dead rabbit (average size laid flat) should be about 120mm and the Sag probably has about 100-110mm front clearance. Hmm, following cars down dual carriageway into Aberdeen a couple of years ago went over a deer. Had to put the car on a rack as the smell of roast venison became too much!!
I wouldn't raise the setup at all for road use - there is a considerable difference in the drive if you do that: only time to change is to drop it further when you go on track.
Daftlad will put us right on that one!!

Just readying my sag now for the road;
The anticipation of the awesome acceleration,torque, traction and that planted & glued to the road feel.
Just can't wait to;
Check the levels,
Check the wheel nuts
Check tyre pressures.
Insert the key, ignition on,
Check dispaly and voltage reading.
13.3 volts OK.
Turn key,Starter turns,engine fires.

Hi Graham, you must be refering to it being on the ramp at Hex getting 3.73 diff fitted yup, dislike that 'orrid Waxoyl with a passion. Can hide a multitude of sins. Looks like Autoglym for the chassis and Zymol for the rest!

Do you need some of these rear anti roll bar drop links to brighten up its backside ?

Ally stalks cost me £70 but when they arrived at Hex Tony called to say that the wiper stalk had a different finish to that of the indicator stalk and that the text/inscriptions on one was different to the other! Phil from Racing Green checked another set (apparently the last available) and noted the same. He was sending up to Hex to compare and I will get one set fitted!
