AFM hose to air filter

Have been speaking to Tim at ACT today to price up a new hose from AFM to filter. He quoted me for pipe from AFM to bulkhead and from bulkhead to filter etc. However before I ordered any I thought I would double check under bonnet and found my current pipe goes from AFM straight through bulkhead and directly onto filter Has anybody else got this arrangement or is it just me? I will speak to Tim tomorrow but would like some thoughts first. BTW it's a 1995 4.0 serp.

Yours is normal, the bendy ones can go all the way, but Tims more rigid ones need to be made in sections I believe.
