111r track tyres?
Discussion
i've put 195 toyo R888's on standard 5.5 rims no prob. I think in reality they are slightly narrower than A048's even though they are meant to be the same size.
The toyo web site in australia has a pdf available that lists recommended rim size and the min for 195/50/r16 is 5.5 inches.
I've done 6-7 trackdays on mine with good results.

Your other alernative is to buy a set of Exige rims to run 888s/AO48s on track and AD07s/bridgestones on the road.
You don't say how much road use you get vs how much track use, but 5k road miles is a very good result on track biased rubber, so its quite expensive wasting them on the road where you aren't able to use the extra grip.
There's a reasonable secondary market in Exige rims, best place to look is the classified on SELOC, or maybe ebay. Or even buy a new set of team dynamics rims!

I have to agree with subaqua, that it you're using it on road better to have a 2nd set of rims. I have two sets of 'spider' rims one black, one silver. Found them cheap with nearly new AD07's for 500quid so seemed like a bargin.(esp as i needed new road tyres.
If i was going to buy new rims and had some cash i'd be
coolwheels
forged, wicked looking and weigh less than helium.
