aup would any body be able to help me on engine conversions?

i have a 53plated 1.4 16v fsi ibiza at the moment but would like a cupra r!

the thing is i would like to know if a cupra r engine from a 2002plate and lower would fit into my car that i have currently?

and if so an estimate for the pricing of doing this?

any advice given would be grateful cheers wezzer

Sell the current one and buy a Cupra, much more cost effective as the conversion will probably reduce the value of your current car.

Difficult to say how much as it depends on if you are paying someone to do the work. Assuming you are it would cost more than it would ever be worth.

Bear in mind its not just the engine but also brakes, suspension etc that would need upgrading so you would end up throwing at least a couple of thousand at it and end up with a car worth less than you before you started with.

Unless you have money to waste, sell it and buy a Cupra.
