All, Quick one. Just bought Elise and current insurance *holes are insisting on Tracker, there is one fitted but Tracker won't give me the number unless I transfer the registration, which I reckon is about £125 per year. Are there sensible insurers out there who don't insist on this?

I'm with Admiral who were cheapest by some margin and don't require a tracker. Is it worth checking how much you'll save first? - if it's in the region of £100 it might be worth taking the subscription, being as it's already fitted.

You'll save £50 at most, because the immobiliser is a Cat1, which gives you pretty much max security related discount. Elephant/Bell/Admiral, all same company. I'm with Elephant, I decided to activate the tracker on mine, with my £50 discount on insurance, it effectively costs me £75/yr to run the tracker.
