Does anyone know where I can get hold of replacement gearing for my wiper motor (engine mounted version). The motor itself is fine, but the plastic gears have worn and become stuck when under any pressure (for example when they sweep a dry windscreen). I know that I can obtain an exchange unit, but at £200 it's an expensive set of plastic gears.

All help / advice greatly appreciated.

I've spoken to Adrian, but the only service he can offer is a unit exchange at £200.

This outfit keep a lot of old Lucas stuff, they couldn't help me when I wanted the wiper gear boxes used on our cars but I don't think the basic motor unit has changed much for eons... worth a try but be prepared to email them piccies and get counting teeth etc. Also a good source of the drive cables that can be difficult to find as individual parts.
