Has anyone painted their rocker covers ?
Discussion
Hi ya folks.
It was mentioned to me yesterday that whilst my engine is stripped down, the rocker covers, front engine cover etc could do with a lick of paint.
The black stuff had peeled off, and I'm now left with a rather rough looking Aluminium finish.
What would you use on there ?
I'm thinking of getting them powder coated. I mentioned taking them to the place that did my wheels, but the engine builder has told me to warn them not to go too mad with the shot blasting
Any advice please

Its a relatively simple job. Use paint stripper, the black stuff just falls off. Then you'll need to etch prime it. Finally use a high temp resistant paint, maybe the stuff they use for brake callipers. I think lambo orange looks sweet!
