I need to know how much ground clearance there is at the front, in relation to the front wheels.
Basically, the leading edge of my drive needs to be made suitable before the noble arrives, it currently comes straight off an unmade road/track.
So I suppose what I'm asking is, how far are the front wheels back from the leading edge of the splitter, and how much clearance under the splitter.
Have the builder coming by later, so please go to your garage and have a measure for me, ( your car that is ).

120 mm under the splitter (which is 30 mm tall ) and which is 830 mm in front of the centreline of the front wheels

That seems high..mine is lower than that (maybe something to do with the nitrons and it being cornerweighted and set up)

Just out of interest note that not all Nobles are made equal (in height) as this photo of the V6 Bruvvers shows. BTW, nothing to worry about and Uncle Bob at the factory told us this was acceptable.

If you can get any BMW up there, you can get a Noble up there. I ground out the Z4 more often then I do the Noble on the "up and down" on the road.

Take the splitter off - makes very little difference on the road and it's bound to come off one day in an "unscheduled" manner anyway!
