x-flow + electronic disributor = which Ford Fiesta

hi,

a recent posting in this forum explained about changing the original (points) distributor on a x-flow engine to an electronic one from a fiesta. unfortunately it wasnt posted from which fiesta model (year, type, engine-code) it came.

can you help me in this matter?

It would probably be one of the later Mk3, certainly on fitted with a catalyst. They had a black box about 1.5 x 3 inches on the bulkhead.
