Small parts for weber 40 DCOE's
Discussion
Following an earlier topic I posted I thought I wouldadvise you of my further plight!
I have a Westfield running on twin weber 40's.
Following the start of a miss fire I scratched my head untill someone at WSCC suggested checking whether one of the veturi tube lock screws had gone missing, allowing the tube to rotate in the barrel cutting fuel supply.
BINGO!!
Probably the easiest fix in the world, one locking grub screw and lock nut required. Parts 64820.006 & 34710.003
But so far having contacted several on line weber dealers and webcon themselves I am left frustrated. There is a backorder of over 200 and the Spanish factory are apparently not forthcomming with the goods!!!!!
So if you run twin 40 DCOE's check these screws are tight, locktight them in place and wire them to another part.
If you have a spare you are willing to part with or know of anyone who may have a stock please let me know.
Or if you know anyone who could machine me such a small part in the Bristol are I would be greatful for the tip, as I am currently off the road.
Cheers
