Is it just me, but my R300 seems to suffer from fuel starvation, i.e. the odd misfire when the fuel runs low, granted the guage is showing below 1/4 while driving, but on parking up or slowing down the guage comes back up to show well over 1/4. I assume the tank is not baffled but even allowing for trackday high fuel use, this is quite a limiting factor. Any thoughts?

Mine suffered the same at Bedford at the weekend. It seems anything under 1/4 of a tank and it didnt get enough fuel, especially coming out right corners(if i remember)

As soon as i put more fuel in, it was fine!

I actually ran the tank dry on sunday to see where my actual empty was, and it was well before the red!

The fuel pump is on the right - look under the right rear wheel arch - so when you cornering hard right all the fuel is doing a hard a left away from the pump....and also nearly all track corners are right.
