Now that's what I call wood and leather!

Very nice, what year and mileage? Is she a runner or a project?

Very nice

Thanks for sharing the piccies.

One day I need to add a Mk2 or S-Type to my Jag collection. I started to get ready for a project with a Mk2 last summer. I was going to try a find a 2.4 and drop a 4.2 under the bonnet biggrin (4.2 engines are cheaper than 3.8s)

Have fun

Its a 1960, so early one with the big bumpers.
just an ickle 2.4 manual.
In original, un-restored and un-molested condition.

Job38,
I never saw your V12 Coupe in the flesh but from the pics I saw it was sensational. Something I don't think I could have parted with. However, the MkII you've acquired looks sensational too...amazing that it's untouched and in what looks like abfab condition.

Forgive me, 'un-restored' is probably incorrect.
What I meant was, it hasn't been 'restored to within an inch of its life' kind of thang.

Its very, very original, 58,000 miles, owned by some senior RAF guy and I suspect pampered at various RAF bases over the years.

The Daimler Coupe will be for sale soon at the specialist this came from, will post link when its advertised.
Would make a great car for a PHer !

Congrats.....I had been keeping an eye on that particular car for a while now as I'd seen it on the dealer's website as I'd love an unmolested Mk2 that still has distinctive 'Jaguar smell' only an original has, and that I remember so much from my childhood.
Sadly, I need other events to fall into place first before that may become a reality.

Nice colour combo as well.....just needs colour coded wires added....wink
