We are going in May and stay at Centreparcs with all the usual facilities.

Its about a 15 minute drive from the ring

rinhttp://www.centerparcs.de/DE/DE/parks/park_heilbachseeg.

We pay about £65 each between 4 for 4 nights.

The drive to the ring from there is quite nice, loads of quick empty roads.

We are going from the 9th until the 14th Centreparcs have given us 1 night for free - i think its a bank holiday.

The ring will be open all day Sunday and Monday - think there is a race on Saturday there ( not sure if its on the GP Circuit )

It usually opens in the evenings for 50 minutes also.

There are 3 cars in our convoy so far with another 3 or so possibles.

Jon/Pete,

I plan to go back there this year.

Best place to stay is at the Am Tiergarten (Sabine Schmidt's place) in Nurburg - right next to the track.
I'm planning to swing by there in May on the way to the Cannes Film Festival.

I took my 6.0 round there last October - fantastic! Video. Spa is nearby (70 miles, you pretty much pass it on the way to Nurburgring). The Six at Spa

We're limited to the 'noisy days' on UK circuits, and even then can fall foul of the noise prefects if we're on sports pipes.

Silverstone is a good track for the Diablo. I've done Knockhill too, surprisingly good in a big Lambo even though it's a small track. Also done Brands Hatch Indy but the Diablo just felt too long-legged and big around there.

Don't have any plans, the Six has a problem with its clutch hyrdaulics at the moment. Just started it today for the first time in ages...
Oh, how I've missed that sound.... cloud9

I might sell one of my 'six' plates, I bought two when I got SIX VT.

Jon, I'm pretty flexible so can go to a track meet before Nurbergring etc. Car comes back end of next week then off for some paint for a few weeks. After that, its playtime.

I had it valued at 5 to 6K by number dealers (you won't believe how much TOO GOOD is up for sale for with some dealers!) I paid quite a bit for TOO COOL when I got it from auction as I'm intending to get another car sometime. I've seen Yellow for sale before and I must say it's a nice number for your car (about 4Kish isn't it.

Pete I have emailed mav, looks a good site. fingers crossed and get some tyres. If I havnt sold the roadster, and by the values im being offered it will stay with me, you can borrow my wheels if I can get tyres. What do you think y3low or y31low, or BOL10X ?
