Sorry forgot to say what I am doing:

Starter:

Crab and prawn ravioli in a sefood bisque

(never made my own pasta before so fingers crossed)

Main:

(never made this before either)

Desert:

I have a pheasant. It'll be roasted, with bacon-wrapped chippolatas (sp?) and swede mash.

Chicken fajitas followed by Profiteroles, not exactly exravagant but its what the OH likes.

ETA: And a nice bottle of wine followed closely by a row I'd imagine.

In the end I plumped for a Pear, Walnut and Goat's Cheese Salad in a Honey and Mustard Dressing, followed by Salmon fillet cooked in Lemon Butter and Dill, sat on Tagliatelle with Asparagus, then the Lemon and Butter poured over it. For Desert I cheated and just dressed the plate in Chocolate Sauce, Icing Sugar and Strawberries, then stuck a GU pudding from the microwave in the middle!
