Can anyone help - I have a 2001 Boxster with a perfectly good hood. However water is gettin into the bottom of the door panels by the speaker (both sides). Does anyone have an idea as how to solve this?

Could it be that the "poser" moulding (the rubber trim that sits against the glass on the outside of the door) has perished or worn & isn't sealing against the glass, allowing water to drip down past it?

On both doors the rubber to the windows seems to be fine. The water isn't travelling to the lowest point of the door. I have removed the rubber stoppers on the underside of the door and it is bone dry. However the carpet to the underside of the speaker mounting is wet.

Sam happened to mine after the window regulators were replaced under warranty (slow motion up & down)
The membrane behind the door card is broken / rmeoved to get access and wan't replaced. - good old OPC.
The solution was to get these membranes replaced- another trip to the dealer.

Thanks for this - going to see someone tomorrow. Hope it's not going to be too expensive.
