Have just about convinced myself to buy a T350c have never owned a TVR and would appreciat all advice have driven a Tamora and sag and iam fully aware of some of the pit falls so come put me off !!!!

Buy carefully, don't expect 100% build quality and have ready access to some annual currency.
You'll either love or hate the experience, but either way it won't leave you 'unomved'.

I love mine to bits! As do the public; the O/H won't go out in her without make-up as we get photographed so often.

Choose carefully, cultivate a sense of humour, and have £5k in reserve in case the worst happens, and you won't regret it.

The fabled 'worst' with these is an engine rebuild. With the factory gone the original warranty is unlikely to be claimable. You can buy a warranty each year, apparently, or keep the money aside and hope...

S.T bear in mind your buying a race car that can be used on the road,it needs to be looked after, needs servicing by reputable companies every 6000mls / 12 months. Once all paper work checked - should be okay.There are comparatively low numbers of people who have had problems with their T350's......this is no different to the large numbers of people who own Porsches who have big problems with their cars

Niggly things that go wrong are things like sender units, oil, speed etc

I picked up my T350 over a week ago.......loving every minute of it

You know you want to.......do it.......you'll not regret it. Oh, I hope your not shy? People will stop what they are doing to gawp at your beautiful machine

As a reckoner, I have had my car a little over 12 months, done about 8k miles and had 2 services 12/6k. Costs for 'necessaries' £2.3k (not including warranty work). Probably half this amount for upgrades and 'elective'maintenance.

Go in with your eyes wide open, get a warranty if unsure about funds and enjoy ENJOY ENJOY!!!!!!!

DO IT! But make sure you know what you're getting into.

My first TVR was a T350C and I did have expensive things go wrong with it but I loved it to bits! IIRC it cost me 14k in 14 months of ownership, this included some upgrades and a full engine re-build – put it down to bad luck and experience (or lack of).

I sold that car in November last year and have regretted it ever since. I bought a Z4M Coupe to replace it but it is no replacement for a TVR so I am looking forward to collecting my Sagaris this weekend.

As I said before, DO IT and make sure you get a warranty and as others have said go into it with your eyes wide open and make sure you have a sense of humour. You won’t regret it!
