Hello.

Are you able to search the network for cars on a service and maint scheme? There seem to be precious few around nowadays.

I'm thinking of a used 330 or 335d or if the money is right a 335i touring, loaded. At least nav, BT, pan roof, leather, pref a tow bar and anything else nice.

Thanks.

Can't all be good lads if they booted you after you gave your notice in... that's just sour grapes! If it would be sensible for me to 'modify' my order between dealers let me know.

Well I've edited my quote of you now smile

I really don't think they could touch you - I made it quite clear when I first phoned up that the deal was contingent on me dealing with you for the whole process. I haven't signed any standards terms of business so they don't have a leg to stand on if they want to wiggle out of that.

Cars are commodities, I can buy a BMW from anywhere, so I'm either going to pick price, location, or the people I deal with as the differentiators. When will stealers realise this. :s

That is a very fair point, they seem to forget that people buy from people. To be fair to Knights all the other people I have dealt with there have been excellent so far, lets see how they perform over the next week (any squeaks and they will be in trouble).

Price: I'll go on t'interweb

Location: I'll go to the nearest dealer to my home/work

People: If a dealer has got an order from a postcode more than 20 miles away then surely this is a bit of a giveaway that the car has been bought "from a person by a person" to quote David..

Cheers chaps.

They are a great dealership and have some really nice people working there...

it's just 50 miles to far oop north, along one of the worst motorways in the UK...

Sorry to hear that Duncan. After looking after us so well during the sale it would have been nice to be able to thank you personally at the handover.

Amy and I would like to echo everyone elses comments and wish you well with the move to Sytners.

As has already been said people buy from people and you made the process easy and enjoyable so we will of course be in touch when the time comes to change again.

All the best mate.

No matter what you may have agreed with them, I suspect Duncans contract will have very specific sections in to to prevent him taking customers with him, or at least deals...

Harsh but a reality I think.
