As per title really. To celebreate the old-girl getting a new MOT, thought I'd take her along to this weekend's meet. I see there is a 350i going along so will keep any eye out.

I saw you drive in - shame I didn't catch up with you, but it was a bit packed to say the least and needle in hay stack comes to mind...!!

Found your car later though - Nice Wedge! What's the LYNX logo for?

Sorry guys, couldnt make this as the car is still off the road! Cant bear to go to these events in a 'normal car'!!!

Jamie-Hows the 400 going then? You going to do some of the Goodwood meets this year with it?? Look forward to seeing her!

Hello, was very impressed with your car and it's good to meet you. I see you are in a photo in the main news article......especially good with my front wing in the foreground laugh

Which route did you take back?

Fame at last, eh? smile

Cheers Clive, it was nice to meet you too. And thanks again for taking the lead when the convoy got split up on the way in...

I went back via Lamberhurst/A21/Goudhurst/Marden to Maidstone - the way I know! Tagged along with a gaggle of Ferrari's for a bit. You have to keep these more exotic guys on their toes... wink

Hi Rick - saw your Tiv - very tidy! Arrived a bit later than last year and had to park in the top car-park.
The LYNX badge is from the car's start in life - a competition prize from the Faberge company.I actually tried to win the car as a 17yr old!! I thought it was a good meet yesterday just a shame that lovely Ultima got into trouble on the way home.
Hi Matt - 400 is driving lovely - she still needs a new roof but the funds a bit short at the minute. Hope to catch up with you at one of the Goodwood meets and see these lovely new carpets of yours!

Oh right! Nice to have a bit of history like that! My car started life in South Wales, but found it's way to my village when I was 17ish only to disappear off around the country again. I didn't realise it was the same one until I read through all the paperwork that came with it!

Yep - a great day! Mad parking though! I don't think we've seem the last of that Ultima...

Will be going to Goodwood too, so will try and catch up with you again there!
