i dont like the idea of a can of foam as a spare ,and i seem to remember someone saying a skyline space saver will fit ,i also seem to think there was a picture of it fitted. Did tvr offer one as an option as i know of somebody who has a space saver on his chim in a bag and he seems to think it came from the factory.

A space saver was never offered as an option for a cerb when I bought mine in late 99.

However, this subject has been done before. I seem to remember an MR2 mk2 spare will fit?

Alot of the jap 5 stud wheels are the same bolt PCD but the centre bore on the TVR hub is to big . In an emergency you could fit it and pack out the studs with some washers or get a spacer machined up . I borrowed the spare from my wifes MR2 to take to Le mans last year and ended up using it but as you drive it bends the bore of the wheel and the nuts come loose. David

When I had my Skyline I tried it's space-saver on the Cerb and found exactly the same as above.

Interested in this topic too as I have purchased another set of spiders for mine and was going to see if 1 of these would fit in the boot as a spare, which would be best to carry, a front or rear wheel?(if either fit in?)

I don't think you'll fit a spider in the boot. Maybe when deflated smile

Hi just paid for my first Cerb, needs a few bits the dealer is going to do, so won't get it for a week or so.

But could I ask would the Chimera spare fit the Cerbera or is the fitment totally different?

Also I have used that stuff you put in the tyre that is supposed to seal a puncture immediatly on high power bikes without problem.
Is it ok to use in such wide low profile tyres?

No, Chim' is a 4 stud and Cerb' is 5 stud.

Find a Jap' car as a lot of them use the same stud spec. You'd maybe need to have a collar made to centralise the spare.
