Verdi F355 Spider

Ladies and Gentlemen,

There is a Rosso/Crema F355 on the Verdis website (ref CM355).

On paper it is what I am after, but it appears not to have been sold after over a year.

Has anyone viewed the car or know any reason why it hasn't shifted?

No idea why it hasn't sold.

Perhaps a bit toppy pricewise and the belts will need doing this year. Can't recall if level 1 is the loudest Capristo either - might not be to everyone's liking.

A lot of Verdi's ads are SoR too. Perhaps the owner isn't that fussed about selling and hence won't negotiate...

seen it and driven it but not whilst it was at verdi's

Reasons I didnt buy it :

Hole in roof( seller claimed it wasnt a hole and didnt leak i could push a pen through without causing any further damage !!!!!!), crease on rear bumper,needs paintwork on front wing (chip size of 50p), needs front ennd re spray, needs seats re conolising etc etc etc

Buyer not willing to negotiate much

If it is and you fancied swapping for a quieter standard exhaust, let me know for a px and cash.

Level one capristo is the least loud of the Capristo exhausts.

If it needs front respray, new roof, leather recon, cambelt and whatever other nasties might be waiting at service time you will be in for a serious amount expenditure!! Even if that amounts to £4k (likely to be more) then you are effectively paying over 50k!

Looks to me like an SoR car that the owner isn't yet committed enough to sell.

If the car was absolutely sweet as a nut, then it might be about right. Possibly a grand or two high.

If the work mentioned is definitely needed and still outstanding, then it's worth substantially less.

Must say most of Verdis stock seems to be SOR. I have tried to buy a couple of cars off him, they never seem to want to negotiate?! Even though they always seem well over what other dealers are asking! I asked about their SL they have advertised, no movement on price, and i got the same spec/mileage car from a main agent for nearly 20K less!!
Each to their own i guess??

In addition, I know that Capristo Level 1 is the quietest. Level 3 is the loudest.

Think you're right.

Though in terms of negotiating it then all comes down to the owner. From experience of selling my own car, Karl gives sound advice to the seller as well as the buyer. Mine sold smoothly for a decent, fair price despite having what many would consider high miles (complete bunkum - they feel better with miles on).
