G20 Rear Wheel Spacers?

Hi Folks -

Well, our first above freezing day in it seems MONTHS got me out there fixing the new wheels to the G20 (pics to come). In my ongoing education of the car I found spacers on the rear hubs! Now, besides the slightly more aggressive stance it gives the car are these necessary/regular items on the G20?

I also added rear spacers on my G20 when I got new wheels a few months ago. I got the spacers from H&R at 10 MM IIRC and they are hub centric and include new wheel studs. It helps the wheels fill out the fenders much better. I have my car in South Florida, so the weather is getting too hot to drive the car now. Also, I have a warning light on all the time that I do not know what the warning is for???
Great little cars though!
