9 Asda shopping bags (5 in boot,4 in front)packed in it today.
Granted there was only a 4 pack of Asda Shades which may be a mistake as there were two packs of Madras takeaways in there as well but never the less i reckon 9 bags is a record !!!biggrin

Come on, that's pretty poor, you can get much more then that in it :P The key is to not put cereal boxes in to bags, line them up, on their sides, around the back edge of the boot, you can get 4 or 5 of them in that way (protects the lights as well) - Even 1KG cornflakes boxes fit (just). As you can tell, I do the weekly shop in mine, every week - not to mention trips to Costco (you'd have been amazed if you saw what we fitted in, with passenger, a couple of weeks ago).

Pah that's nothing, I went Bathroom Tile shopping a while back and settled on some for the floor and walls while in the show room so I bought them forgetting I had the Liz and there was two of us! It was quite funny when the guy came out the warehouse with a trolley full of tiles and asked which car should he load them into! laugh

In the past, pre-elise, have had to leave the GF at B&Q a couple of times as we couldn't fit everything in, and that was with much larger carrying capacity.
