Right, it's 3 weeks since the last weekend meet, so it's time for another one.

Date is Sunday 24th February.

Options are:-
1) Repeat of last time - another rather nice lunch at the Red Lion at Hunningham, seemed to be quite a success! If we want to book the large table again we'll need to ring them soon...

2) Breakfast run somewhere nice - maybe dust-off one of Duncan's recent routes.

3) Postpone for a week and do the Cosford Breakfast Club on Sunday 2nd March.

4) Other suggestions welcome...post 'em up!

Let me know what you think, what you'd like to do, whether you're an early-morning person or not. Forecast for 24th is currently uncertain...this week's going to be nice, weekend may/may not be.

Will see what's happening as I have friends staying over on Saturday night for a few drinks...But promise not to cause the pub too much rearrangement issues this time if I do make it.

I'm 50-50 on this. I have had an accident on Monday evening whnen I slipped on icy mush (it was dark too) and crashed on my back on concrete. The pain is dreadful and off work for a few days. Can't drive atm either.

Ed,

Sorry to hear about that...hope the docs can sort you out quickly.

Others...doubt we'll get into the same place now - I'd bet the large table will be booked.

So...suggestions as to what we can do are welcome...otherwise we'll take a rain-check to the usual Tuesday...

Coolcatmaz and Havoc,

Thanks for asking. I was at the doctor this morning (had to walk cos it was more painful driving!)

I've been prescribed medication to combat this and it will take a few days to work through.

I will be glad come warmer weather - freezing weather too much potential for mishaps.

hang in there and keep smiling if you can. I know first hand what severe back pain is like so I sympathise with you. Hope the medication kicks in soon.

Ed - ouch! take it easy - wishing you a speedy recovery.

Martin - there doesn't seem to be the same number of people available this time so perhaps a big table won't be necessary.

How about if I go down to The Bell at Ladbroke tomorrow and have a look how their sunday menu compares with our last outing, then at least we can sort out a venue and the 'floaters' can join us if they want to?

True, this thread has only been up for a few days but, there have been several reminders about this meet and requests for ideas.

Regular meets are second Tuesday of the month and last Sunday of the month - Tuesday 11th March and Sunday 30th March.

Would love to have had lunch with you all, but we've got other things planned for Sunday I'm afraid. Also goig to have to miss the next Cosford meet as we're in France for the weekend.

Next time for sure! smile

yes it will most likely be there or The Bell Ladbroke which is very similar.
