Clutch Master Cylinder problem
Discussion
I've been trying to get my clutch system sorted and have been having some trouble. The clutch pedal goes about 1/2 way down with little resistance and then gets harder the remaining way down to the floor. I replaced the slave cylinder and that didn't help. I took the master cylinder off and it feels "gritty" when sliding the plunger in and out. It also doesn't seem to have much pressure.
Has anyone else had problems with these Girling products?
Suggestions appreciated.

If the Cylinder is not leaking on the floor, then I would say yes it's air somewhere...
take the slave of the gearbox and rest it on the floor (Lower than the Master cylinder then losen the bleed nipple and let it just drain out via gravity, this may help... may take a while. Or maybe pressure bleed the system with a Easy Bleed kit...
Has the car been used before is this the first build ?? is the clutch OK ??

I spent 4 hours getting the air out of the clutch and it still didn't work. Finally I figured that the pedal wasn't pushing the MC rod far enough. So I climbed down below the dash and adjusted the pedal so that it has about an inch more throw than it did before. Voila. It worked. It will take a little more to adjust it for smoother operation.
