presume you are thinking of changing x-flow for 2.0l pinto - read tech pages and early posts about this and servo (no-no!)
Auto - I have scrap Jago soon to be on last journey - to breakers - It has the auto shift lever and the pedal box, if you want them get in contact
Come to that any one else who wants it get in contact, it is still allmost complete - new jago is now being fitted out (paint sprayer turned up at last) so garage is needed pdq

Ok now I have to attempt putting memory in gear!
2liter - engine mounts have to be modded, simple though - involves adding in plates to mountings as centres are different, so some welding needed and of course appropriate radiator and electrics for new engine and possible relocation of battery.
Servo - the jago is much lighter than any normal vehicle, so much so that a servo designed for a heavier vehicle would certainly lead to wheels locking up unexpectedly and resulting loss of control!

The tech pages work if you type in www.joctechnical.org.uk
or just click on the above to make life easier for you.
Servo's are a big NO NO unless you have a death wish and like spinning off the road.

If fitting the 2 litre or 1600 OHC a new set of standard springs for the Mk2 Escort can be all that is required. When we originally built our first Jago that is what we used with the OHC.
The alternative is of course the RS2000 front springs.
As V8 says the Capri struts and springs are a good alternative and often were used.
May be worth checking out some of the more reasonable auto jumbles as there is a chap (usually attends Newark kit car show) who has a good range of struts and rear shocks. He may well attend the auto jumbles as well.
Sorry forgot his company name.
