How hard is this to change?? looks like a nightmare....

my under tray is missing and since the pipe has rusted and has a slight pea size hole on one of the welds. i thought it was only one pipe but looks like there are 2 connections each end... which disappear up into the blackness of the bumper.....

I had a similar problem on my GTi TDi 150, i know they are completely different configurations, but the upshot was that the front of the car had to come off. After an hour of building up courage to do it, surprisingly it only took about 15 minutes to remove, there are about 8 large bolts holding the all the plastic front on and a few cable connections. Once that is disconnected and out of the way all the hoses are very accessible, then ten minutes to get the front back on, as all the head scratching was done in the first operation of removal.

Having said all of that, yours might be completely different and what i have said is complete and utter bks.
