I saw a silver one in Touchwood Solihull. It's the first car I've seen in ages thats really grabbed me and made me think I want one. I've been on the Maserati website but no prices. Anyone know how much they are? Think about 15k would be fair!

The base price is £78,500 but most cars are being spec'ed with 20" wheels, metallic paint, coloured calipers, Skyhook suspension, Bose, etc so the average price will be around the £87k mark.

you always seem to find the right locations to set the car off perfectly.
were these taken on the day i saw you in the city?

Very nice, once again! You've done a great job of portraying the car as an art object.

Very nice photos of a beautiful subject.

Is the last photo slightly high dynamic range?

yikes Never! hehe

I hate HDR, that pic just has some gentle curves and layering to tidy up the extremes

I quite like HDR, only when done properly though. You can make dusk shots really stand out.

Good job with the curves and layering, you must have some nice glass on your camera? What lenses do you shoot with, I'm in the market for a new lens but not sure which direction to go (canon or sigma, want an all round lens)

For me HDR has become a synonymn for crassly overprocessed images which look completely false, simply because its an effect so often poorly applied. As you allude to, used correctly it can look quite nice but the power of curves & layering give results as nice if not better IMHO. I'm a Nikon guy, and only use proprietary stuff so probably cant help with lense advice sorry.

Trust me mate, the colour scheme e25 have gone for looks wonderful. I did another editorial style shoot of it a couple of weeks ago, much nicer shots IMO so reserve judgement till I get those up! wink

Why, my house is probably on your route! (Oberaegeri, just outside Zug)

I can meet you pretty much anywhere as I love your work.

Also, I'm going past Davos on the way to the Lambo driving academy on 6 March, if that's when you'll be there?

Thats about what I expected. I would imagine a 997c2s would beat it hands down for functionality, its probably no quicker than a M3, but there's very little to come close to it for its dramatic almost mould breaking design. A really stunning car.
