East riding council spend £68000 on bottled water!

On the local news tonight: the council have purchased bottled water for its staff over the past year totalling £68000. Good to see there not wasting our council tax!

Have you seen the water coming out of the taps with the lead pipes? Not nice.

But surely it'd be cheaper sorting the supply in the long run then buying the bottled stuff?

i dont get this at all, West yorkshire at least has some of the best water in the country - better than bottled infact so why spend the money on bottled

Admitedly when i went to east yorkshire to visit my grandad youhad to chew the water but it still tasted quite nice compared to bottled
