Gearbox Oil

Just a quick one, does any know how to check gearbox oil level? Or where to refill from? Also I spoke to my local TVR dealer and they said to refill with Dexron 3 rather than 2 any thoughts on this?

There should be a bolt on the side of the gearbox which has to be undone to check oil level. Dont ask me for the exact location but most gearboxs have this type of inspection hole.

Hey,

Just got mine sorted last week...

The bolt to check the fluid is near the top on the on the offside side of the gearbox above the drain bolt...

Kind of difficult to check the level, best thing to do is top up till you can't fit no ATF more in....

You really need it up on a ramp to make it a little easier...

Best get someone else to do it, much less hassle!!!!
