Le Mans camping sold out!

I've just tried to book some camping tickets at lemans.org and everything is sold out or 'stock exhausted'.
We normally get Beausejour tickets as late as April.
Any ideas?

Try the usual.. TL and 1st Tickets. We have spare Beausejour and Houx tickets if you get stuck.

Just becasue someone has sold their allocation, doesn't mean there is nothing left.

We booked through www.1st-tickets.co.uk last week and they had more than just Beausjour camping left.

I'd ring the ACO direct - number on the bottom of the downloadable booking form.

If you don't speak a bit of french try..

"Puis Je parlais en anglais'

and you'll get a very pleasant girl who speaks great English and may have a better idea of availability.

Then again, she may not!!

Or go to the Classic instead. We are, partly because we had a bad experience arriving at Maison Blanche on the Thursday lunchtime last year...

Keep checking online. Last week I gave up waiting for the ACO Classic allocation and went to book Karting Nord - but it had sold out, then a few hours later came back online. You never know though.

I believe "Stock Exhausted" means that the ACO have run out of printed tickets, but not actual spaces.

Also, expect more tickets to become available from the ACO as people don't take up their options on pre-oredered tickets.

TL have at least 100 places left in Beausejour, Houx and may even have Houx Annexe available soon due to cancellations. According to their website they also have a few places in the dedicated site at Tertre Rouge. Lots of grandstands too.

Strangely when I looked last night the ACO entry for normal BSJ tickets wasn't on their website at all. The 105 sq m version showed "stock exhausted" but the normal 35 sq m version wasn't there

Ahhhh, yes, they're very sneaky. On the left hand side the drop down section will have all the sites listed, but sometimes it won't show on the main screen. This is how I got grandstand seats in Panorama - they didn't come up on the main bit but were shown as 'selectable' from the list on the left.

Get them on e-bay a couple of weeks before the race. There are lots of bargains to be had. Alternativley check here:

I've never heard of Beausejour running out of tickets on the gate and the office seems to be open 24hrs, why pay anyone a premium?

I don't intend to end up stuck out there again but it's a fall back if everything else fails.

You make a good point, however we've never known them run out of BSJ on the website before (ok they've only sold for two years online I think) plus they have lost camping space elsewhere (MB) so I wouldn't necessarily be too keen to try to buy on the day.

I would not want to turn up without somewhere to stay.
The attendance is getting bigger every year. However you aquire a camping ticket I would never advise winging it when you get there. I don't think anyone else seriously would either. Sooner or later you are going to be buggered!

but really got to agree, I always like to know where i'm staing and getting it booked up in advance
