Hi,

So i've looked at 99.9% of the threads here advising of suitable tailors for reupholstering. Coverdale can supply, but i'm a DIY disaster so wouldn't attempt to fit them myself redcard
Another mention here was Fred at A @ R Pound (in Herts) but he's full until June

I'm really after a trade outfit in the SE/London area that can be recommended. I want to avoid taking it to Joe Blogs at Random Upholsterers Ltd unless there's no other option "Sorry Sir, I haven't done a TVR before but it shouldn't be a problem mate" shoot

I guess i could just order from Coverdale (or any other supplier) and ask somebody local to fit but that still requires them to dismantle the car etc. Should i be trusting somebody that doesn't come recommended with my pride and joy or just take the risk?wobble

I took my Griff there & he wouldnt price it!

Made every excuse under the sun, shame really as I live just around the corner.

Hopefully they will be in a better mood when you call, well worth a try as what I saw of their work looked very good.

If I was you i'd wait till June and use A&R Pound.

If you can't wait, try AJ Trimming in Bourne End. Not cheap though - it cost me £1140 a couple of years ago to have the carpets in my Chim replaced but that did include Wilton carpets.

I think a lot has to do with space available. He can only fit one car in at a time.May be it,s best to try when it,s not busy.He has done quite a bit of work on the Cerbera for me.I took the seats to him today off the 90 to be trimmed in leather.Should be ready for me to pick up Saturday morningthumbup
