Im planning my summer hols and this years its going to be a 20 day european road trip. Criteria are I want 2 days in Milan and Then travel accross southern france towards avignon then back north possibly towards Le Mans. Oh and im not wanting to include many motorways, any suggestions or route planners would be helpful, or ill just randomly stick pins in a map.

If it's school holidays, it will make a lot of difference in price!

Going in August and as the missus is a teacher school hols are a must im afraid. Our plans are evolving slowly but hotel ratings arent an issue as any 4 or 5 * nights will be offset by gites and camping.
