Try posting this again, not sure what happened.

Have been pootling around car park on my SV650s, but my glasses keep steaming up even with visor up, due to slow speeds etc.

Cleaned them with a bit of spit which helped temporarily, but what do you guys suggest? Am looking into contacts, but that is likely to be a few days away.

Test on the 26th - got my 33BHP ECU all ready to plug in smile

stop breathing so heavy! biggrin

Failing that blow your breath down rather than out which goes up into your glasses

Try a weak solution of washing up liquid on the lenses. Just don't rub your eyes afterwards.

if your wearing a neck muff or anything over your face, pull it down below your nose. or it'll aim the hot damp air up making them mist in seconds.

My AGV has a bit that goes in front of my nose... doesn't seem to work much.

I sortv pull my lower lip back, and breath down through my mouth, but I look like a mong, and its a bit uncomfy.

Guess I'll live with it.

Will give the washing up liquid a try thumbup

Good god no, I'll always have the full face ones. Looks, protection for the chin, and full visor.

Not much point looking cool, if you can't see where you're going.

Best thing I've found is 'Bob Heath Visors Antifog' which I use on both my glasses and the inside of my visor.

On my ride to the Arctic Circle, where I encountered every type of weather you could imagine, I never had to put my visor up at any time.

This means you can stay snug and warm in an enclosed helmet even when you stop at lights etc..

March Ride magazine tests about a dozen anti fogging products and some wipes from Fog Tech won the test. £10 for 12 sachets, wipe inside visor and leave to dry for about 10 seconds.

I ordered some and they really do work.

Totally agree, I've always used this stuff on the inside of my visor and had no problems, and I wear glasses too.

Speedo Anti-fog spray

absolutely superb stuff...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Speedo-Anti-Fog-Goggle-Spray...

cheaper than bob heath stuff (£3 plus postage), non-aerosol so you get to use it all (!), last longer as you have a metered 1 spray every time.

Used it before my shuberth S1(which has a crappy anti fog coating that means i cant use anything), used it most of this winter with no trouble whatsoevver, visor fully down in rain and even snow...

i used to keep one at home one at work - single spray after every journey and you will never fog up again...can be used on glasses too thumbup
