yeah cheers smile

i was using it last couple of weeks untill i got a puncture on thursday ... then wimped out this week untill today as the car is far more apealing when the roads are covered in hard frost!!!

i ride her off road all year round but only recently started using her for my run into work, 20mins on mostly tight twisty country roads so it suits the DRZ pretty well...its a much better way to start the day

Positively warm this morning in comparison, roads very greasy and wet. Just shows how much salt they chuck down to atract so much moisture from the air.

I completely agree.. I work in IT and on shift so start at 6am sometime and on the warm mornings (I've had 1 so far) there is no better way to start the day.

I know I just saw that...

ANYWAY so I guess I work in IT but IT is not my strong point ha ha maybe time for a change of career.

On that note have you ever hit anything whilst out on your bike? I've been lucky and only got a kicked up stone in the shin from the car in front.

lol

yeah i hit a blackbird at about 90 on my old 350LC a few years back...hit me in the shoulder and nearly took me off the bike, managed to stay on and pulled over as my face and neck felt warm and wet...i had feathers and guts all around my neck and up into my crash helmet...very grim i can tell you

more recently
i hit a (freshly killed) deer on monday morning on the way in thankfully i was in the car so it just clattered about underneith,i coulnt aviod it as it was spread right across the road so i just grimised and drove through the chunks, got to work and the car stank!!!! i spent about an hour under the car that night hooking off all the bits of deer from the exhaust and cat, the car smell's alot better now thankfully.....we have a nice dinner/do to go over the weekend and didnt really fancy turning up in a clean white car that smells like a BBQ gone wrong

i get hit by stones all the time, its like being shot with at by and air rifle at times.

I can never hit blackbirds in the car.. Inteligent little buggers how did you do it?
Did you suffer any damage?

Yeah same as here really although I never seem to see any which is just fine with me because I do not want to hit anything if I am on the bike.

So you are not taking dear pie or anything? You know some people are starving in the world HA HA

ive hit a smaller bird, sorta greenish & chaffinch size. was doing 40-45 in an open face & got a mouth full of feathers as it hit me right in the face. lucky it didnt 'burst' as i was in an open face lid. rather distracting it was, along with trying to stop with it stunned & twitching on the saddle without squashing it.
ive see a bloke kick a squirrel, it ran across the road, stopped & put its head up just in time to hit his toes - hes foot never left the pegs. squirrels can fly you know hehe
