ALL very welcome...our web site is now been updated and is being added to everyday, we have a got some blindin 'supercharger packages' now available or 'remaps' for any car petrol or diesel. We are doing re-maps for Monaro,HSV,VXR,Holden at a very special rate £250.00 inc. vat which includes a dyno sheet for proof of upgrade.

We will posting up on the site all Horse Power Heroes winners for each event with a final at the end of the season - This competition is open to anyone with any vehicle and will be running at all the events as shown on our web site or Santa Pods site. We kick off The Fast Show - Santa Pod 9th March.

I have been considering the wortec essential pack upgrade (just the re-map) at £500, although struggle to see if I would appreciate £500 worth for just a few extra HP, a bit better torque range, and slightly more MPG. I can see it makes a pretty big difference to the CV8, but not so much on the VXR.

At £250 this seems like a good compromise, and worth a trip north. Has anyone had a rapid-GB re-map on a 5.7 VXR, and does it have the same results as the Wortec pack?

Can you remap (not perf box) a Corsa 1.7cdti (57reg with a Denso ECU).

If so pm me and I`ll be straight up.

Mark at RapidGB fitted my Supercharger and did me a custom map from scratch. Trust me, he's been doing it for years and knows what he's doing, he just doesn't shout about it.

I agree! I'm just about to call Mark now. The re-map especially sounds like a hell of a decent deal, which is good as I need a service and some other work which will make the bill add up in a hurry...

As a new (uk) Holden owner it looks from initial web searches, that the leader for upgrades is by far and away Wortec, and I somehow got the impression that they were 'vauxhall approved'. Looking a bit deeper, it seems it isn't necessarily the case.

I'm more than happy to drive a distance to Wellingborough to get good work done on the car.

Mark looks after my car and I'm very happy. It's true that Wortec are the most popular but part of that is down to their distribution model (Greens, Monkfish etc). All good stuff (I have a Wortec exhaust) but there are other manufacturers and I think it's good to look at the options before spending so much money. I particularly liked the CV8 with side exit exhausts I saw down there!

Mark fitted my s/charger and did a full remap - runs very sweet - recommended.

also drove the car prior to charger fitted with a mark remap fitted - again sweet.

Mark - when you say any car can you live remap a alfa jtdm 16v? if you can do that for £250 i'll be down shortly!

Dyno Queens dont prove anything though, although can start arguments, or just end up as some fun.
The HPHeros stuff down under is good to read, but I highly doubt anyone in the UK would be rich enough, to throw money away at replicating such things....Building these dyno cars cost a bloody fortune, for little return. If you really have that much disposable income.....please send donations to wink

Everyone knows the real place to prove performance, is on the black dyno.

Except the Monaro`s got such weedy tyres it can`t get away.

So the blacktop dyno isn`t that accurate either
