Anyone know why the Newbury sortouts are cancelled this year?

gutted as I had a list of bits I needed!

They sent out a letter with some guff about queing vehicles from the M4 to the show and the worry that peeps may stray into the London congestion charge area in error!!! WTF!

How on earth would you stray into the LCC zone from Newbury?
You'd have to be a bit lost!!

The queues from the M4 were always pretty bad, but since the A34 junction got changed they were much better.

Sounds to me like they couldn't be arsed to run it this year.

Exactly what every one else thinks. They cancelled all land rover sort outs and classic ones there this year. Ive never found the queing to be a problem since they re-did the A34 and they still run the Newbury show from there anyway!
