Pool car tax

Our company has a pool car which is shared between staff for business trips.

There is one specific thing I'm trying to work out; if I use the car to go and buy lunch for all the staff, does this count as a business trip?

No. There's no benefit in kind implication on pool cars, as long as the're proper pool cars and not for private use.
