I was driving down the A19 and the weather was a bit breezy to say the least, when I could hear what sounded like a poor door seal fit. the noise was quite loud but I could not pin point it exactly other than coming from the passenger door. The only other time it makes the same noise is at high speed.
I told the dealer but they said they will only test the car up to 70MPH.The trouble is of course the dam noise happens way above that speed. I had this problem a few months back and it seemed to have gone away...The door and window seal look OK and I have no water leaks in the car. The door is also lined up OK.
Is there a known fault in this area?

Mine does the same. Only really noticed it when I was the passenger on a trip back up the M6 about 18 months ago.

Can't really feel a draft but there is definate wind noise. I think I read, perhaps on LS1.gto, that there was a tech service bulletin on the subject and a possible fix.

It's the gap between the mirror and door and indeed there is a TSB on this on the LS1 GTO forum. I live with it as it only happens at silly speeds!

its going to be a pain to find isnt it......

Which monaro you got in the North East? Keep seeing a black 07 plate CV8 on the A19.

aftershock, black 05 cv8 (l4jor) I have not seen another Monaro on the A19, infact I havn't seen one for ages...What are you hauling? Dont forget to flash (your headlights that is)
